Gaspar compares current fears to concerns earlier this decade about the environmental impact of crypto-mining, with mining facilities seen as resource-hogging and eco-unfriendly. Gaspar says that quantum issues are being addressed in the same way that the climate issues were, with companies like Coinbase and Strategy announcing quantum security programs to protect bitcoin. "BTC stands to turn the page through its proactive efforts to dispel quantum hysteria," says Gaspar. "Once the industry issues clear facts and a plausible plan, this issue will come to pass." Bitcoin is up 7.6% in the past 24 hours to $73,190, says CoinMarketCap. (<a href="mailto:kirk.maltais@wsj.com" rel="nofollow ugc">kirk.maltais@wsj.com</a>)<br />
